Fusionism

Fusionism was the idea that the three wings of conservatism could not only find common cause but could cobble themselves together into a semi-integrated ideology. The theory was that the religionists would defend traditional American values, which would provide cultural support for the ideals of limited government and American patriotism.

The movement is somewhat splintered with the majority of conservatives I know personally defending no more than two conservative pillars within their sphere of influence. Given the liberal stranglehold on America’s perspective of money and morality the individual’s capacity to claim a fusionism philosophy within their lives is diminished to non-existent.

When liberalism attacks God is the first casualty and the rest becomes unstable. Three tiers of conservatism, social, fiscal, and policy, hence the theme of this blog. The heavy metal theme song may initially grind against the image of Christ but as an American institution religion is the glue that holds it all together.
