Who Needs Public Office

White House Lashes Out at Cheney
"We are at war and when President Obama pretends we aren't, it makes us less safe," Cheney said. "Why doesn't he want to admit we're at war? It doesn't fit with the view of the world he brought with him to the Oval Office. It doesn't fit with what seems to be the goal of his presidency — social transformation — the restructuring of American society."

Napolitano Concedes Airline Security System Failed
After proclaiming the "system worked" on Sunday, Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano backtracked today and conceded serious lapses in procedures that allowed a young man on a terrorism watch list to board a U.S.-bound airliner with an easily detectable high explosive.

How can this guy even consider himself a street preacher when he's not even damning America.

Oh noes! The devil's all white and junk.

Chavez announces new discount 'socialist' stores
President Hugo Chavez on Tuesday announced a new chain of government-run, cut-rate retail stores that will sell everything from food to cars to clothing from places such as China, Argentina and Bolivia.

Execute order 66:

"We're creating Comerso, meaning Socialist Corporation of Markets," Chavez said at the opening of a "socialist" fast-food location for traditional Venezuelan arepas (cornbread).

Keep a sharp eye out for foreign objects...

"They'll see what's good. We'll show them what a real market is all about, not those speculative, money-grubbing markets, but a market for the people," said Chavez in his drive to change Venezuela from a market-based economy to a socialist one.

"We're going to challenge all that junk food that just fattens people up," he added referring to the arepa stand he opened to the public.

Yes We Can

Obama: We Can't Treat Tax Dollars Like "Monopoly Money"

Get Killed in 2010

Moulitsas: We'll Get Killed in 2010
Markos Moulitsas, founder of the Daily Kos and an influential leader of the Web-based political left, said Sunday that Democrats are facing huge defeats in the 2010 elections because the Obama administration has alienated the Democratic Party's liberal political base with its escalating involvement in Afghanistan, and it's failure to push for universal healthcare.

Whoa hey this guy's exactly right considering his worldview will lead us back to the days of Roman slavery. Although the real reason for liberal failures lies in the lack of support for Afghanistan from the left and suicide bombing inspired legislation against public opinion.

So what he really means is the reason liberal policies fail is because conservatives still exist despite all the hate.

But hey semantics is for unwashed morons, right?

Environmentalism is Worst

Sen. Ben Nelson to vote for health care bill; Secured favors for his home state... Unless the GOP yields and the vote comes sooner, the bill is expected to pass in a final Senate vote at 7 p.m. on Christmas Eve. Negotiations to merge the bill with the House version would begin early next month.

McCain Understands Why Palin Blacked Out Visor

Human Sacrifice for Gaia
Some have proposed taxing the parents of newborns several thousand dollars to discourage child-bearing, and thereby reducing CO2 emissions. Others have spoken of “culling” the human herd.

What these proposals have in common, besides their cold-bloodedness, is that mainstream environmentalists keep insisting that they are “fringe” views. Well, recent statements from sources that couldn’t be more “respectable” put the lie to those claims. And they should remind Christians why the sanctity of human life must be our highest priority.

Rules Of Engagement Are A Dilemma For U.S. Troops
As part of the new American counterinsurgency strategy in Afghanistan, soldiers and Marines must work first to protect the Afghan population. Given the choice between killing the enemy or risking civilian lives, they have been willing to let the enemy go. NPR's Tom Bowman was in Afghanistan earlier this year and witnessed troops grappling with the dilemma of whether to shoot.

Yo! Sarah Raps

WASHINGTON (AP) - Sarah Palin poked fun at herself in a speech to journalists Saturday night, drawing laughter when she announced she "came down from my hotel room and I could see the Russian embassy."

If the election had turned out differently, she said, "I could be the one overseeing the signing of bailout checks and vice president Biden could be on the road selling his book, 'Going Rogaine.'" Biden has sparse hair.

As for her hosts, she said she was glad to be appearing before an elite audience of leading intellectuals, "or as I like to call it, a death panel."

"The view is so much better from inside the bus than under it," she said, referring to the poisonous relations between her and some of the McCain campaign staff.

Focusing on criticism she has received from Steve Schmidt, a senior strategist in McCain's presidential campaign, she said, "If I need a bald campaign manager I guess I'm left with James Carville," a Democrat.

A wonderful and plesent sense of humor.

WASHINGTON -- After months of maneuvering, the Senate stands at the brink of a historic battle over health care with President Barack Obama and his allies on one side and Republicans, outnumbered but unflinching, on the other.

If this weekend's vote succeeds, it would be followed by weeks -- if not more -- of unpredictable maneuvering on the Senate floor, where Reid and his allies will seek to incorporate changes sought by Democrats and repel attempts by Republicans to defeat the legislation and inflict a significant political defeat on the president.

Explaining Away Mass Murder

By Charles Krauthammer

WASHINGTON -- What a surprise -- that someone who shouts "Allahu Akbar" (the "God is great" jihadist battle cry) as he is shooting up a room of American soldiers might have Islamist motives. It certainly was a surprise to the mainstream media, which spent the weekend after the Fort Hood massacre downplaying Nidal Hasan's religious beliefs.

Democracy in action:

Feminist Dogma

I hope the moment passes. Ms. Rand may have been a popular novelist, but her philosophy is deeply problematic and morally indefensible.

What Rand was peddling is a brittle, arid, mean, and ultimately hollow philosophy. No society could thrive if its tenets were taken seriously and widely accepted. Ayn Rand may have been an interesting figure and a good (if extremely long-winded) novelist; but her views were pernicious, the antithesis of a humane and proper worldview.

And conservatives should say so.

In the wake of the brutal mass murders by a Muslim U.S. Army officer at Fort Hood, the FBI is taking a fresh look at a frightening estimate: 10 percent of the 2,000 mosques in the United States have spiritual leaders who preach jihad, or holy war. Even more frightening: some 25 percent of American Muslims ages 18-29 believe that suicide bombings can be justified.

WASHINGTON — Intelligence agencies intercepted communications last year and this year between the military psychiatrist accused of shooting to death 13 people at Fort Hood, Tex., and a radical cleric in Yemen known for his incendiary anti-American teachings.

But the federal authorities dropped an inquiry into the matter after deciding that the messages from the psychiatrist, Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, did not suggest any threat of violence and concluding that no further action was warranted, government officials said Monday.

Liberalism Leads Muslim Terror

What I find fascinating about the endless stream of Muslim terror plotters who populate these islands — that little bunch of guys on monkey bars Michael Moore says are the sum total with whom we need concern ourselves! — is that most are British-born.

Phyllis Chesler laments the fact that the brave report by Douglas Murray’s Centre for Social Cohesion about the danger of the extremist group Hizb ut-Tahrir in Britain has received little attention.

Indeed, the amount of airtime devoted to the crimes of Israel far exceeds that about the dangers inside our own shores of ruthless, hateful fifth-columnists who wish to kill and maim their own fellow British citizens. It was reported in September in the Daily Telegraph that the ringleader of the liquid plot, Rashid Rauf, roams free in Britain because a jury determined there was “insufficient evidence” to charge him. As you read this he is planning something new. Nice.

Just days after the October 6 Moore-Hannity interview, two men who worked at the Swiss nuclear CERN lab (European Organization for Nuclear Research) were arrested in France and charged with links to al-Qaeda.

“They should be focused like a laser on jobs, not acting like a manure-spreader in a wind storm,” Pawlenty told Iowa Republicans gathered in an exhibition hall at the state fairgrounds, criticizing Democrats for their efforts on healthcare and energy.

As the theme for this weekend is psychoanalysis I thought I'd subject this controversy to at least as much scrutiny as thrown at 'teabaggers'. You don't think Barack was in any pain when he gave props to a war chief who never had any? Why does Barack deserve disrespect? Could it be superlegal violence inherent in 'socialist tyranny' which compels the administration to terminate 'ignorant mother f---ers'?

Maybe if the USA went back to being a Constitutional Republic of law the feds next door would turn that thing off.

Look at these sickening things they put on my computer!
