Listening to CPAC videos. Occurs to me that there is no inherent conservative or liberal ideology, only the product of those news sources and availability of information inherently as it becomes more difficult to find conservative outlets. Your decisions are only as good as your free press and how much effort it takes to stay informed. For me living in a libertarian area it takes three blogs and talk radio all day to stay informed and most people, indeed voters as well will not go that far out of their way to make decisions. They want to remain ignorant then take everything personally and pretend their rights are being violated.

I graduated high school in '95 before the microcomputer revolution took hold and changed the way information was assimilated. Before nerds were cool and seen as the wave of the future social misfits were considered the future homeless unless you were the skin-diseased booger-infested rain man with the math skill and your parents had the money to give a damn.

(did I say "indeed?" been watching Stargate heh)
