Angelo Mendoza should be Speaker of the House the way things are going. Amazing how Bakersfield loves the kid now that he's been crippled and disabled for life as the community bands together in hypocrisy throwing money at the wailing wall of welfare entitlement. If this happened in the wrong side of town would anybody care or even notice?
Why it's so funny to watch people squirm! The community must like this child better in an injured catatonic state instead of growing up right and having a good productive American life but it's too late for that, now he can be an avatar for conspiratorial hate groups. Where the kid was once a forgotten nameless minion considered at risk by CPS now he's a poster child for the La Voz de Aztlan movement and damnation of the white peoples who wash their hands upon the poor child's innocence.
Court reports say Mendoza bit out the left eye of his son and severely damaged the right eye. Police said the father showed symptoms of PCP use on that day.
A probation report says Mendoza was a member of the Southside street gang for Hispanics. There is no court record in recent years indicating Mendoza was an active gang member.
"Mendoza's gang activity was something he did as a youth and outgrew."
