Happy Halloween, Scumbag
This is the only kind of heroism that the Joker, the embodiment of evil and chaos, can’t touch. He can’t do anything to someone who, for the sake of others, is willing to let others unjustly think him wicked. This form of heroic virtue transcends earthly definitions of heroism.
Evil in pure form is represented by the Joker. He not only does evil, but lives to seduce seemingly decent people into doing evil – so that they will see their goodness, and goodness in general, as an illusion. He even kills other criminals, his wickedness being so far beyond theirs that even they are relatively innocent victims.
He is the ultimate utilitarian, inviting people to kill or disgrace others on the pretext that they will save more people by doing so.
The Joker even boasts that Batman cannot kill him because of his moral decency, and the Joker cannot kill Batman because he sees him as the opponent who “completes” him. The two kinds of heroism have produced a stalemate. So what’s left?
A third and unexpected heroism – the hero who offers hope by accepting exile and disgrace. And so Batman, already widely suspected of being an outlaw, saves the city’s soul – by framing himself for Dent’s murders.
The friend’s young son asks: Why is Batman running away? He’s done nothing wrong. No, agrees his father – he’s done nothing wrong. That’s why he has to run.
The man without sin, who takes on himself the sins of the people?

Justice to the Pagan King
When Ahab confronts Elijah, he refers to him as the "troubler of Israel." Elijah responds by throwing the charge back at Ahab, saying that it is Ahab who has troubled Israel by allowing the worship of false gods. Elijah then berates both the people of Israel and Ahab for their acquiescence in Baal worship. “How long will you go limping with two different opinions? If the Lord is God, follow him; but if Baal then follow him” (1 Kings 18:21). And the people were silent.
At this point Elijah proposes a test of the powers of Baal and the God of Israel. The people of Israel, 450 prophets of Baal, and 400 prophets of Asherah are summoned to Mount Carmel. Two altars are built, one for Baal and one for the God of Israel. Wood is laid on the altars. Two oxen are slaughtered and cut into pieces; the pieces are laid on the wood. Elijah then invites the priests of Baal to pray for fire to light the sacrifice. They pray from morning to noon without success. Elijah ridicules their efforts. They respond by cutting themselves and adding their own blood to the sacrifice. They continue praying until evening without success.
Elijah now orders that the altar of the God of Israel be drenched with water (twelve barrels of water). He asks God to accept the sacrifice. Fire falls from the sky, igniting the sacrifice. Elijah seizes the moment and orders the death of the prophets of Baal. The rains begin, signaling the end of the famine.
False Witness is 'Only Reasonable'
"Though we may never know what Palin really believes about God, we do know a lot about the religious milieu in which she lives... This worldview can best be summed up as ‘very conservative Christian plus Alaska.'"
Miller builds up to a frightening warning: "An apocalyptic theology combined with a Last Frontier identity can give evangelicals like Palin a special sense of destiny." And what might that destiny entail? Among other things, a vague threat against Israel: "Some Jews are suspicious about how Christians with end-times theology view Israel-and with good reason; certain fringe Christian sects hold that Jews deserve God's punishment for denying the divinity of Jesus."
The same argument I’ve received a number of times that tries to drive a political wedge in favor of anti-Semitism by suggesting that Christians and Jews are blood enemies or at least they should be. All that does is feed into the conspiracy theory that Hitler was acting on orders from the Catholic church so Bush must be assassinated for the good of all peoples or whatever the fad narrative states.
I wonder if fake arguments like these constrain the traditional Jewish vote in favor of the socialist anti-Semitic left of the Democratic Party. The USA is the only thing standing between the total eradication of Israel at the hands of Islamic extremism and the scoffing Euro-style left.
Under Christian leadership the United States will continue to be a friend and heaviest supporter of Israel, and that’s just how it is regardless of the left trying to nuance votes away from that support. No matter how hard they try to astroturf Sarah Palin.
Ohio Democrats refused to act on ACORN's massive vote fraud. Yet they have time to scour the private records of Joe the Plumber. No wonder Barack Obama finds the Constitution an inconvenience.
The left is losing this election and scared right now, themselves driven to extremes. They want their selective abortion eugenics and stem cell research at all costs no matter the toll on human rights or constructive benefit to science or civil rights. Anyone who stands in the way of their power must be eliminated by any means necessary.

Besides Yer Ugly
This is going to end up like the pop kulture version of the red scare, Obama flags held high as neighborhood Christians are removed from their homes at night and hung from streetlights.
Palin said the campaign had to have faith that its message will be heard "minus the filter of the mainstream media."
"That filter has to be erased," she said. "So we have to have faith in the wisdom of the people that they'll understand what our message is. But even bigger then that, I have to have that faith that God is going to help us get that message out there."
Feed Them Old Themsleves
The Millennials that are coming in now, employers are beginning to realize that that is the future workforce and they want to shape the job towards their life rather than have their life adapt to the workplace.
"Although members..." this is from the Wall Street Journal. "Although members from the other generation were considered somewhat spoiled in their youth, millennials feel an unusually strong sense of entitlement. Older adults criticize the high maintenance rookies for demanding too much too soon. They want to be CEOs tomorrow. "
Who's it going to be? Is it going to be the Millennial that doesn't give a flying crap about anybody else but themselves because they're special, look at all the trophies they won?
Or is it going to be the 80-year-old who's already lived past their time?
I mean, look what they have done. You know the answer of that as well as I do.
Yo, fool ain't easy be pimpin'. They like it the way.

Hardcore
Contrast these first generation American Muslims with the Hispanic super race and the black folk still on welfare after 50 years, they’ve acculturated just fine and support McCain and his Palinist policies. Clearly their race has not been targeted by the liberal narrative and have escaped social oppression from college doctrines which say they must wear rags on their heads in order to identify with their heritage.
Not to mention that’s the cutest Muslim chick since Cheerleader Melissa. Vote McCain so she doesn’t have to cover her face in a burka!
This US soldier will have to wear a mask for the rest of his life to hide his scars. After losing his ability to speak he no longer has a voice so vote for him too, so his sacrifice doesn’t go to waste and the Iraqi people can remain free to live the way they want to while their military gets on its feet.
It will still be five years before Iraq has the ability to defend against foreign insurgency and if our troops leave before the job is done like Obama wants them to those good people will be more vulnerable then they were under tyranny. They should not be forced into any situation they should not have to be in, clearly as the video shows and is the definition of freedom.
I know that by saying that I will be as unpopular and suspect as the people in the video with the bumper stickers even though I make the point against them. But the truth is their side is right too in the Christian sense. When these moderate Muslims are tired of the angry, acting offended gig they can still find a welcome respite in any Christian church because the Bible preaches fellowship above all and not exclusion.

Trailblazer with the Mad Flavor
POWELL FOR OBAMA: IT'S NOT ABOUT RACE
Limbaugh: Where are the inexperienced, white liberals Powell has endorsed?
Is Powell afraid to endorse William Ayers too or does he just want to grab the bumper of the Obama bus just to say he could? I guess he knew a lot of gangbangers and scumbags when he was growing up. Maybe the liberal media will want to bash us all upside the head with it but this is no shocking big surprise for anyone who's informed.

Failure Guarantees Citizenship
Obama supporters have threatened critics with criminal prosecution. These attempts to shut down political speech have become routine for liberals.
Congressional Democrats sought to reimpose the "fairness doctrine" on broadcasters, which until it was repealed in the 1980s required equal time for different points of view. The motive was plain: to shut down the one conservative-leaning communications medium, talk radio. Liberal talk-show hosts have mostly failed to draw audiences, and many liberals can't abide having citizens hear contrary views.
Today's liberals seem to be taking their marching orders from other quarters. Specifically, from the college and university campuses where administrators, armed with speech codes, have for years been disciplining and subjecting to sensitivity training any students who dare to utter thoughts that liberals find offensive. The campuses that once prided themselves as zones of free expression are now the least free part of our society.
Obama supporters who found the campuses congenial and Mr. Obama himself, who has chosen to live all his adult life in university communities, seem to find it entirely natural to suppress speech they don't like and seem utterly oblivious to claims this violates the letter and spirit of the First Amendment. In this campaign, we have seen the coming of the Obama thugocracy, suppressing free speech, and we may see its flourishing in the four or eight years ahead.

oooh snap
Initially, Mr. Odinga was not the favored opposition candidate to stand in the 2007 election against President Mwai Kibaki, who was seeking his second term. However, he received a tremendous boost when Sen. Barack Obama arrived in Kenya in August 2006 to campaign on his behalf. Mr. Obama denies that supporting Mr. Odinga was the intention of his trip, but his actions and local media reports tell otherwise.
"Kenyans are now yearning for change," he declared. The intent of Mr. Obama's remarks and actions was transparent to Kenyans - he was firmly behind Mr. Odinga.
The violence was led by supporters of Raila Odinga, the opposition leader who lost the Dec. 27, 2007, presidential election by more than 230,000 votes. Odinga supporters began the genocide hours after the final election results were announced Dec. 30. Mr. Odinga was a member of Parliament representing an area in western Kenya, heavily populated by the Luo tribe, and the birthplace of Barack Obama's father.
By mid-February 2008, more than 1,500 Kenyans were killed. Many were slain by machete-armed attackers. More than 500,000 were displaced by the religious strife. Villages lay in ruin. Many of the atrocities were perpetrated by Muslims against Christians.
About 50 parishioners were locked into the Assemblies of God church before it was set ablaze. They were mostly women and children. Those who tried to flee were hacked to death by machete-wielding members of a mob numbering 2,000.
So Barack Obama endorses and campaigns for the guy in 2006. Then Odinga gets extremist support and in 2007 his organization leads a path of destruction killing peaceful Christians and ends up as president of Kenya in April this year.
When the US dollar is printed out of value and is worthless, will the new currency under the Obama administration be the ears and teeth of Christians?
Change is on its way to the USA and it is stained with the blood of Christ.
We're not going down without a fight!
God Save our American States!

Larry King Thug Thizzle
M. MCCAIN: I mean, there's lots of issues that I disagree with my father, but there's a lot of issues that I agree as well. I never really feel comfortable coming out and saying what exact issues, because I'm not the one running. And I think it's important to support him and what he's doing. That's really it.
KING: One might guess you'd be for choice.
M. MCCAIN: Pardon me?
KING: Choice.
M. MCCAIN: I don't want to talk about that stuff if that's OK. I would rather stick to my book and the campaign.

Bobby Beats Barry
“It’s fine with me that he was a Muslim and a convert to Christianity,” Pipes told Newsmax. Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal “is a convert from Hinduism. I have no problem with his conversion. What I have a problem with is that he’s lying” when he says he was never a Muslim.
Bitter Clingers Assemble!
RUSH: Drive-Bys Attack Palin Crowds
The crowds that are greeting Sarah Palin are huge. I don't know if you've noticed, but Barry's crowds are shrinking. When was the last time you saw a video piece, a television report of an Obama crowd?
The Greek rally at the convention was the last time. When you see Obama on television now it's just a head shot of him at the podium with the selected white supporters carrying a sign sitting behind him. But they don't show you the whole crowd.
I've got eight pictures here, Sarah Palin and McCain are drawing crowds that are overwhelming the places that they have decided to hold these rallies that they're having. And the crowds are getting somewhat raucous out there, Palin whips them up into a frenzy.

Yer Veep Has a Smooth Forehead
RUSH: Has he done something to his eyebrows? I thought I was looking at a Klingon last night. I hate to make these kinds of observations, but I couldn't help it. There's something different. It's either that or his makeup artist was a (Romulan)
Is there a pile of rotting forshak in here, or is it dor-sho-gha!
“Biden’s largest gaffe of the night: I heard Biden state that Article 1 of the Constitution grants the Vice President his/her role. It is Article 2 that provides the Executive branch their enumerated powers. Article 1 is for the legislature.”
You speak the lies of a tah-keck!
Traitorous qoH needs to grow some ridges, the piece of baktag. His father was a bIHnuch so we can expect as much. Here he cries to Kahless for mercy at the sight of this repulsive human female. It is as if he swallowed the Divergence virus and liked it!
Even his son lays with a targ the stupid petaQ!
In the Star Trek: Vanguard novel Summon the Thunder (by Dayton Ward and Kevin Dilmore), the human-like Klingons are called QuchHa', or the unhappy ones. They usually serve in their own units, although sometimes they are known to mix with the rest of the fleet personnel. The novel Forged in Fire (by Andy Mangels and Michael A. Martin) gives the name of the 'real' Klingons as hemQuch, or the proud forehead.
Crisis in Online Anti-Semitism
"The age-old canards about Jews and money are always just beneath the surface," said Abraham Foxman, the national director of the Anti-Defamation League (ADL), which fights anti-semitism.
The ADL said it had witnessed "a dramatic upsurge" in anti-Semitic statements on online discussion boards, and Internet service providers were struggling to delete them.
A surge is a surge, the only thing that matters is what side you're on.

Democrats Want Christians Dead
Sarah Palin did not follow the prescriptions necessary. She's good at virtually everything she does: daughter, athlete, outdoors, person, musician, wife, mother, businesswoman, mayor, governor. But she doesn't approach those things the way others that sit in judgment might have. Let me give you a little illustration.
Questions from Gwen Ifill tonight, all hypothetical:
"You were an accomplished basketball player. Tell us the three most influential WBA or NBA players in your playing style."
Sarah Palin, "I can't think of any. I don't watch television. I enjoy playing basketball."
Ifill: "Have you ever attended an NBA or major college basketball game?"
Palin: "No."
Drive-By conclusion: "Palin isn't serious about her sport." The only problem is, she was an outstanding player.
These recipes that people have! She didn't go to an elite school, didn't get an elite degree, and don't have network friends in Washington and New York. That's why she's not qualified, in their eyes.

Vengence is Mine
25 Since you put away lying, Speak the truth, each one to his neighbor, because we are members of one another.
26 Be angry and do not sin. Don't let the sun go down on your anger,
27 and don't give the Devil an opportunity.
28 The thief must no longer steal. Instead, he must do honest work with his own hands, so that he has something to share with anyone in need.
29 No rotten talk should come from your mouth, but only what is good for the building up of someone in need, in order to give grace to those who hear.
30 And don't grieve God's Holy Spirit, who sealed you for the day of redemption.
31 All bitterness, anger and wrath, insult and slander must be removed from you, along with all wickedness.
32 And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ.
U.K. "Embarrassed" by God
The retreat of God from education has left a moral and spiritual vacuum and the breakdown of any shared value system." He said the void was increasingly filled by "the passing fads of an X-Factor culture" (a talent show similar in format to American Idol).
