Sarah Mind Trick
Hastings, a liberal member of the Congressional Black Caucus, made his comments while participating in a panel discussion sponsored by the National Jewish Democratic Council. A former federal judge, Hastings was impeached for bribery and perjury by the Democratic-controlled House in 1988, and then convicted by the U.S. Senate a year later. California motorists using cell phones have been required to use hands-free devices since July, and drivers under age 18 can't use any electronic devices.

In Freddoso's book , he quotes from the dedication in the first edition of Alinsky's seminal book, "Rules for Radicals," where Alinsky wrote:
"Lest we forget at least an over-the-shoulder acknowledgment to the very first radical: From all our legends, mythology and history (and who is to know where mythology leaves off and history begins -- or which is which), the first radical known to man who rebelled against the establishment and did it so effectively that he at least won his own kingdom -- Lucifer."

He was a copy editor. He never met with Japanese investors. He never told anybody any financial strategy whatsoever. He never even wore a tie to work, but he's got this passage in his book where he's leaving his corner office, which he also didn't have, and he was talking to his secretary, which he also didn't have a secretary. And this is from somebody who worked there. He said the only guy who had a secretary was the CEO of this little small newsletter company.
I am here to tell you that these people, that all of a sudden Brokaw and all these other people now think that they're finally hitting home, relating to the values of voters and so forth, this business of throwing Pontius Pilate in there and Sarah Palin to him, knowing full well Pontius Pilate's historical role in the Bible, they are bombing on this like they can't believe, and it's 'cause they don't understand Christianity, they don't understand the people who are Christians, they don't understand people of faith. This is bigger than anybody understands.
There is one thing that I don't quite understand their thinking on. Not totally. It's this whole business of Jesus Christ was a community organizer, Pontius Pilate was a governor. I need some help on this, because the only way to analyze that in the current context is Jesus Christ equals Obama, Sarah Palin equals Pilate. Pilate allowed mob rule to run crazy on the community organizer and we had a crucifixion. I do not understand how this is a positive for Obama.

RUSH: The only way to beat God is to beat you. To beat God out of you. And this is what they're doing, and make no mistake about it. To believe in human life, whether it be a Down syndrome child or an out of wedlock pregnancy is to be condemned. It's to be condemned. Stop and think about that.

The biggest enemy the American left faces is conservatism and the Republican Party. To them, that represents true evil. Russia is not evil. Iran is not evil. Israel is close to being evil. North Korea is not evil, the new Russia is not evil because they have a messiah who can deal with all those people.
Then along comes Sarah Palin, who represents more change than Obama, she comes from a place further from Washington than Obama. She is an accomplished politician and governor of a state. She's got five kids. She is treated as the devil! She is being treated as the devil incarnate. The attacks on Sarah Palin are attacks on most American families in this country.
