LOS ANGELES (AP) - A gunman shot and wounded two men in the parking garage of a North Hollywood synagogue early Thursday and Jewish schools and temples alerted in case the attack wasn't isolated.

With a few exceptions, the mainstream media continue to kill stories about honor killings and attempted honor killings in North America. How often did you read stories about the honor killings that took place in Toronto (07), Dallas (08), Atlanta (08), Oak Forest, Illinois (08), Alexandria (08), Buffalo (09), and Kingston, Canada (09)—on and on, until the most recent attempted honor killing in Phoenix?

If we can't beat them in Afghanistan and Iraq we have to fight them over here.

WASHINGTON (AP) - House Democrats are at an impasse over whether their remake of the nation's health care system would effectively allow federal funding of abortion.

(CNSNews.com) - Rep. Bart Stupak (D.-Mich.) told CNSNews.com yesterday that he has organized a group of “about 40 likeminded Democrats” who will vote to kill the health-care bill if House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D.-Calif.) does not allow a floor vote on his amendment to prohibit federal funds from going to insurance plans that cover abortion.

The big problem with the conservative movement has been its self-appointed leaders telling others to shut up and follow in lockstep, and I don’t think any so-called movement leaders taking that approach have the first foggy clue about what the New Media and Tax Parties mean.

I agree that the liberal establishment has more in common with ancient Egypt than conservative theory outlined in the Constitution and Declaration of Independence. However what I take away from these fringe liberal Republican groups whose antics resonate unfavorably with more reasonable commentators is a continuation of the dehumanization trend institutionalized by atheists and climatologists.

My critics would have you believe no conservative meets NFL 'standards.'

In 1998 Mr. Sharpton was found guilty of defamation and ordered to pay $65,000 for falsely accusing a New York prosecutor of rape in the 1987 Tawana Brawley case. He also played a leading role in the 1991 Crown Heights riot (he called neighborhood Jews "diamond merchants") and 1995 Freddie's Fashion Mart riot.

Not to be outdone, Jesse Jackson, whose history includes anti-Semitic speech (in 1984 he referred to Jews as "Hymies" and to New York City as "Hymietown" in a Washington Post interview) chimed in. He found me unfit to be associated with the NFL. I was too divisive and worse. I was accused of once supporting slavery and having praised Martin Luther King Jr.'s murderer, James Earl Ray.

I never said I supported slavery and I never praised James Earl Ray. How sick would that be?

Statutory Mythology

Rush Limbaugh’s Lip Meets Soros Cash in NFL Bid

Edge of Darkness
Kennedy Martin, influenced by John Darragh's The Real Camelot which examined the pagan origins of the Arthurian legend, saw Craven as a modern day Green Man who would confront the threats to the Earth on behalf of Gaia. These aspects would reach their apotheosis in the serial's conclusion in which Kennedy Martin envisaged that Craven, having found the plutonium stolen by Jedburgh, would be shot by a sniper and would be transformed into a tree.

Makes me wonder how much control Soros has over what we see and hear if in the eventuality Rush was outbid by Soros as an insult after the state media networks try to give him a scripted image. Either way, it's typical liberals are on a crusade to construct a myth which allows them to acquire power by assassinating the American nuclear family.

VAT's The Matter

Fiscal Policy: Sometimes the worst ideas are the most tempting. So it is with the value-added tax, or VAT — a potential money gusher for strapped governments but a massive new levy on all Americans.

At least twice a decade, it seems, desperate politicians latch on to the idea of a VAT as the best way to raise lots of money for their spending schemes. No wonder. Unlike our current system, a VAT would impose a uniform levy at each level of production, from raw materials to finished goods, so the revenue potential is huge.

Krauthammer charged that “the liberal internationalism of today is different” from – and “goes far beyond” – the center-left foreign policy of Bill Clinton. "The big question is the extent to which religious objection will be defeated in the future in other cases where you have institutions having religious convictions against providing other services," the attorney explains.
